My Author Life Since 2005, You Heard It Right

Hello, I’m Ritika Das, known in the literary world as Readablyours.

Early Life and Writing Inspiration
I’ve always wanted to be a writer since I was in first grade (2005) – it was when I learned for the first time that I had the capability to write poems that melt hearts. Growing up in Mumbai, my home was always filled with books and stories. My mom nurtured my love for books, and sitting in the kitchen reading out loud to her enhanced my passion for literature, aspiring me to write one of my own someday.

Writing Journey
My journey as a writer truly began with a Wattpad title that I ended up deleting because I was too conscious about the level of maturity in my writing. Then, I went on to pursue blogging projects—I’ve written on books, productivity, personal growth, and mental health over the years. After writing on The RD Journal (now Readably Yours) for four entire years, I finally published my first writing project, “Echoes of Existence.”

Writing Style and Themes
My writing in the current book is based on traditional rhyme schemes, but since its publication, I’ve also experimented with more writing styles that I enjoy. I often explore themes of courage, career, and authentic living. I love noticing the small things about daily life that make life extraordinary.

Community Experience and Future Projects
It’s been humbling to see how my stories have resonated with readers, inspiring them to live life to their fullest. Being a part of the literary community has been a fulfilling experience.

Currently, I’m working on my second project and hope to see it hit the bookshelves next year in 2025. I’m excited about my journey and hope to inspire my readers to live life to their fullest.

Lastly, I want to thank you for joining me on this journey. Your support means the world to me, and I look forward to more writing adventures together.
